The economy has been recovering from the impact of the global recession, and it will give boost to placements in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Due the global economic crisis, last year the placements were affected. Many companies stopped their fresh recruitment.

It is expected that by the end of the current academic year, many students of IITs and IIMs may get chance to attempt the placements at their concern campuses. Now companies are interested for campus selections, as the hard time of economic slowdown is about to over in next few months. By the next year, all the companies would be trying to step with the competitive world.

The global slowdown has affected all the industries and companies that caused a drastic fall in placements at IITs and IIMs. Last year the best package was less against offered in 2008, this year there are chances of good packages for the students of IITs and IIMs. It is expected that there would be lots of opportunities for the students this year and next year.
