Orissa Govt. Clears Five Industrial Projects worth Rs 2037 cr
The state government has cleared five mega industrial investment projects worth Rs Rs 2037 crore. The Chief Secretary, Ajit Tripathy chaired a meeting of single window committee in the capital on Thursday. The committee has cleared the five investment proposals - Bhubaneswar Power Ltd, Dhananjay Industries, Hindalco’s Aluminium Rolling Plant, Rashmi Cement Ltd and Kaushal Ferro Manganese.
Accoriding to media reports, Hindalco’s industries to invest around Rs 850 crores to set up Aluminium Rolling plant in Hirakud. The proposed plan would generate employment opportunities to around 250 people and will have production capacity of 2.85 lakh metric tonnes.
Rashmi Cement to invest Rs 300 crore to set up plant at Haridaspur and the jobs can be provided to around 240 people. Dhananjay industries and Kaushal industries will invest around Rs.180 crores and Rs.82 crore, respectively. The industrial investments and projects in the state would generate the employment opportunities in the state.
