IIM-Ahmedabad hikes fees by Rs 1 lakh

Indian Institute of Management -Ahmedabad (IIM-A), country's top B-School has hiked the fees for its flagship programme, Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) on Sunday.

The IIM-A hike the fees for the second consecutive year. The hike in the fees by IIM-A would have impact on other top business schools in India.

The fees of the two-year course have now been raised to Rs 12.5 lakh, a rise of Rs 1 lakh that will be applicable for the incoming batch of 2009-11.There is impact of the global financial crisis on the top business schools placement session.

Despite the IIM-A hiked the fees for the programme. Now the students need to pay extra fees to get into IIM-A PGPM programme.
