Arjun Singh to lay foundation stone of IIT Orissa on Thursday

Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh will lay the foundation stone of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) nearby Argul village, around 20 km from the capitial on Thursday.

Singh was scheduled to lay the foundation stone on Wednesday but the programme was rescheduled. Total six new IITs are to be set up in the nation, and IIT in Bhubaneswar is one of them. The foundation stone will be laid in the proposed 936 acre campus on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
