Orissa Govt. to recruit 600 Village Agriculture Workers

The state government will recruit 600 Village Agriculture Workers (VAWs). Around 1700 posts of VAWs are laid vacant in the state. The Diector of Agriculture, Arabinda Padhy informed the the state government has already approved for the recruitment of 600 posts.

Padhy was speaking at a training camp organized for newly appointed VAWs in Berhampur the other day. Last year, following stay order by the High Court the recruitment of 95 posts for Keonjhar and Blonagir districts were held up.
