CESU terminates 41 jobs for producing fake certificates
The Central Electricity Supply Utility (Cesu) authorities have dismissed 41 technical workers for producing fake certificates. The issue of fake certificates came to limelight after certificates sent to State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Orissa for verification of authenticity.
Cesu had advertised for the recruitment of Junior Artisan-B in the month of May 2008. The IRI qualification was the citeria for the selection. After recruiting the employees on the basis of ITI, age, qualification, etc., the company had scrutinized their ITI certificates.
However, Cesu clears that the certificates of as many as 41 candidates were found to be fake and the process of verification has been continuing. Cesu authorities have informed to media that all forged certificate holders will be terminated from services as and when detected.
