BPUT Students' Union launches Website to tackle Ragging

The BPUT (Biju Patnaik University of Technology) Student's Union has launched a website to address the critical issues such as ragging. The website can be viewed at http://www.bputstudents.com/. The new website was developed and launched by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology Students' Union (BSU), the student body of BPUT.

The website has special features such as Anti-Ragging Cell and Online Student Grievances. The second link offers an online form, which can be filled up by students who face any kind of harassment. The form will be picked up by the Anti-Ragging Cell, which will take immediate action on the complaints.

The Anti-Ragging Cell will act fast and take action within 24 hours of the complaint. However, there will be stricter punishment for people, who post false information/complaint. They will be tracked through the Web Server. The Website launched by BPUT Students is protected against any possible hacking.
