Seven killed in a blast at a fire-cracker factory in Orissa

At least seven people were killed and two others injured in a blast in an illegal fire-cracker factory at Gunduripada, Basta in the Balasore district of Orissa. The injured have sustained severe burns and have been admitted to the hospital.

The intensity of the blast was so severe that the roof of house, was blown off under its impact. The bodies were charred beyond recognition and they were blown into pieces. The accused, who was illegally making crackers inside a nearby house, is absconding.
