Naveen Patnaik takes on Centre over Advisory to State Government

Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lashed out at the Centre for issuing an advisory to Orissa government over Kandhamal violence. The CM said that any such move would be "politically motivated". Naveen Patnaik said while Congress has chosen two non-Congress ruled states to issue warning even as there are disturbances in many parts of the country.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik alleged that Centre has been very slow in sending security forces. According to him, Orissa has not yet received adequate number of security forces to deal with the situation in Kandhamal.
