Kandhamal Violence: Three killed in G Udayagiri Clashes

Breaking News! At least three people were killed and nine others injured in communal clashes in Rudangia village under G Udaygiri police station in Kandhamal. According to police sources, armed mob entered the village and attacked the residents with swords and other sharp-edged weapons. When the Rudangia villagers retaliated, the situation turned ugly, resulting in the death of three people.

The police forces reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Transportation in that area are still badly affected, as roads were blocked by felling trees and rocks. Rudangia village is a Christian-dominated area and many of its residents are ex-servicemen.
