12-year old boy in Orissa pushed out of Train for Rs. 50 (US$1.2), loses limbs

In a bizarre incident that sent shock wave across India, a 12-year old boy in Orissa's Rourkela was pushed out of a moving train for not paying Rs. 50 ($1.2) to a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE). The victim Shankar Singh has been admitted to a hospital. He is in a critical condition and already lost his leg and hand. An FIR has been registered against the TTE Naveneet Mishra, who has been arrested on Friday.

According to sources, the boy was sweeping a compartment of a train where he found a Rs. 50 ($2) note. The TTE asked the boy to hand over the note, saying it accidentally fell from his pocket. When the boy refused, he slapped him and pushed out of the moving train. The Orissa government has announced a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh ($2380) for the victim and assured that it would bear all medical expenses of the boy.

That "man" should be in jail for the rest of his natural life. He's very dangerous. And I think it's safe to say not a very nice person either.

Horrible crimes by Government Of India Officials/Employees are commonplace. There's nothing new about it. Check the following URLs
http://www.dnaindia.com/report.asp?newsid=1144943
http://www.dnaindia.com/report.asp?newsid=1157729

One can easily site hundreds of similar incidents. A vast majority(99%) are not reported at all.

Each and every Government Of India Official/Employee is a criminal. They know that they are not accountable, they will not be punished if their crimes are committed against common men. Can u site 20 examples of Government Of India Officials/Employees being severely punished for their crimes?

It is not that only Indian railways is corrupt. Every department is corrupt.
