Fuel Price Hike impact: Bus Fares go up in Orissa

Bowing to the demand from the bus owners of the state, the state transport department has decided to hike the bus fares. The hike became imminent after the recent fuel price hike. There will be a hike of 4 paisa per km for the ordinary and express buses. The deluxe bus fare will go up by 5 paisa per km, while the AC bus fares has been hiked by 7 paisa per km.
