Contaminated Water kills 2 children, 48 people hospitalized

At least two children were killed and 48 peopl hospitalized at Sindhekela village near Titilagarh, Balangir after consuming contaminated water. According to sources, the water was supplied by the village panchayat from a nearby river well.

The outraged public manhandled the SDMO for failing to accomodate a doctor in village hospital. They mistook the SDMO as CDMO. The district administration is taking immediate steps to ensure clean water supply to the people and better medical facilities to the affected people.
