RIL to invest $1 billion in Orissa

Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) would invest $1.139 billion in Orissa to develop gas fields. According to the official sources, RIL has submitted an initial development plan (IDP) for six gas discoveries in the NEC-25 block in Orissa. The plan is expected to be approved by April 2008.
