B B Mohanti granted Bail

After spending a night in jail, former Orissa DGP (Home Guards) and father of rape convict Bitti Mohanti, finally granted bail by the Jaipur Additional District Court Judge C P Sharma. Mohanti had to submit a surety and bail bond of Rs one lakh.

Earlier, Mohanti was sent to judicial custody for two weeks by Additional Chief Judical Magistrate Rajendra Kumar Bansal who had rejected his bail plea. B B Mohanti is currently lodged in the jail and he is expected to be released by evening or tomorrow morning.
