Orissa Girls win National Junior Football Tournament

Orissa Girls' team won the U-19 National Football Tournament, beating much stronger Manipur 1-0 in the final at Dindigula, Tamil Nadu. Orissa skipper Sasmita Mallik scored the solitary goal for Orissa. Although Manipuri players continued to attack the Orissa goal post throughout the match, they failed to score due to the brilliant goalkeeping by Ahalya Munda.
