Miss India - 2008 Audition held in Bhubaneswar

Recently, we published an article titled "Bhubaneswar goes Global". Bhubaneswar leaped a step further by organizing the Miss India - 2008 audition for the first time in the state. It was organized by Pantaloons, which recently opened a grand show room in Bhubaneswar.

About 20 girls from across the state participated in the mega event. Sonali Sehgal, Pantaloons Miss India International - 2006, selected three girls for the next round. The participants were judged on the basis of height, confidence, personality, skin texture and bone structure. The lucky participants who were selected for the next round are Rupsa Rani Nayak (Balasore), Ankeeta Pani (Sambalpur) and Prabhjot Kaur (Jamshedpur).
