Fake Currency racket busted in Orissa

In a major breakthrough, the Orissa police seized fake currency notes worth Rs 2,85,000 from Bhawanipatna and Junagarh in Kalahandi district. At least five people have been arrested in connection with the fake currency racket. Three of the arrested are said to be from West Bengal. All the accused belong to minority Muslim community. The seized notes were in denomination of Rs 1000, Rs 500 and Rs 100.
