Dilip Tirkey figures in FIH's All-Star Hockey Team

Ace defender, former India captain and Orissa's pride Dilip Tirkey has been figured in the FIH's 18-member men's All-Star hockey team for 2007. Interestingly, he is the lone player to get a place in the elite list.

Jamie Dwyer of Australia has been named captain of the team. He also got the "Player of the Year" award. Dilawar Hussain is the lone representation for Pakistan. Germany, Australia and Holland have 4 players each in the team.
