B B Mohanty declared Absconder

Suspended Orissa DGP B B Mohanty, has been declared an absconder by a lower court in Rajasthan. Mohanty is accused of helping his rapist son, Bitti Mohanty to jump parole. The court issued a non-bailable warrant against B B Mohanty, who has been missing since August 2007.

The Court has asked the Orissa police to submit a list of Mohanty's assets and properties by January 8, 2008. It's an irony that Orissa police continues to remain clueless about Bitti and B B Mohanty despite its best efforts.
