BPUT Students go on Indefinite Strike

The agitating students of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) have observed a statewide "Black Day" on Monday to force their demand of the withdrawl of the year back system. The students held a press conference to announce their decision. According to Abhijit Sahu, the President of BPUT Students' Association, the BPUT has ignored their demand on scrapping the year back system and focused on less important issues.

The students have decided to boycott classes in all engineering colleges of the state until their demands are met. According to latest reports, the state administration alerted all Engineering/MCA colleges and institutions to step necessary steps to prevent any untoward incidents. The agitation is exected to intesify over the next three days.
